With the support of Toerisme Vlaanderen, the eye-catcher of the Claus year will be a unique Experience exhibition in the picturesque church of Sint-Eloois-Vijve. Het Hanengevecht (the Cockfight) there will come to life digitally using technological marvels. Using a tablet, you dive into the world of the characters in the 1882 painting as if you were there yourself. As the highlight of the visit, you will come face to face with the one and only Hanengevecht (Cockfight).

The exhibition lasts 45 minutes.
Ten people can visit the exhibition per hour. Booking your time slot in advance is mandatory.
The exhibition is open to a wide audience of 10 years and above.
With your ticket, you will receive a tablet with headset on site.
Children under 10? Person with a disability? As a parent/guardian, you can order a tablet with 2 headsets. A second set of headphones is then connected to the tablet.
UiTPAS chance rate: UiTPAS holders eligible for budget management or debt mediation are entitled to a discounted rate. Tickets at this chance rate can be ordered online by mentioning your personal UiTPAS number.
The Experience exhibition will be open from 8 June to 22 September 2024.

The Claus Experience exhibition is located in St Eligius Church on Sint-Elooisplein in Sint-Eloois-Vijve. The entrance to the church is also immediately the entrance to the exhibition.
By car
Sint-Elooisplein is 700 metres from the Gentseweg/N43 motorway and is easily accessible from both West and East Flanders.
By bicycle
There is a bicycle shed at the entrance of the church.
By public transport
The nearest bus stop is on Posterijstraat, 200 metres from St Eligius Church. There you connect to the station in Waregem via lines 11, 12 and 13.
Transvaal bus stop (line 75) is 800 metres walking distance.
